Food and Wine
At Chalet Chez Max we take great care and pride in presenting an interesting menu from the kitchens of the world, and an exceptional wine list. With 20 years experience in food and wine in Australia and France, additional Asian influences are evident along with traditional western dishes that will be sure to satisfy hearty skier appetites.

*Savoury poached pear with a honey glaze and white wine jus, served with a walnut and blue cheese tart.
* Oven baked fillet of nile perch with horseradish, on a bed of wilted spinnach then wrapped in filo, and served with our classic salad.
* A selection of fine regional cheeses including superb local goat's cheeses served with toasted breads and seasonal fruit.
* Pear and apple tarte tatin with a rich calvados sauce and a shot of pear sorbet
* Coffee, or a selection of teas, chocolates, and perhaps a digestif.
From our cellar we can offer you St Emilion Grand Cru, Chateauneuf du Pape, Pomerol, Chateau La Tour Pigeonnier (Corbieres) and an excellent Limestone Coast (Australia) shiraz voigner put together by Michel Chapoutier (Cotes du Rhone) and Anthony Tellato (Nappa Valley).
NB Wines are included in the tariff. Beer and soft drinks are available, of course.
